Medications

The Carradale Surgery is a dispensing practice.  This means that medicines can usually be given to you at the time of consultation.  Occasionally a prescription will be issued which can be redeemed at a pharmacy shop in Campbeltown or Tarbert.

Medication Requests

Please re-order your medication in good time before you run out.

Repeat medication should be requested by emailing prescription requests to Carradale.surgery@nhs.scot , telephoning the surgery on (01583) 431376 during reception hours or completing a re-order slip and posting this in the surgery letter box at the left-hand side of the building.

Medication Collection

Medication requests are normally ready after 48 hours.

Medicines can then be collected from the Carradale Surgery between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm or from Skipness Village Hall on a Wednesday between 1:30 and 1:45pm.  Ring the doorbell and follow the instructions on the door.

We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
